This blog is dedicated to my wonderful parents.
Dad is the inspiration for the title and Mum taught me most of what I know about cooking. The quote above pretty much sums up her approach to food. I would say except for the bit about making a dish the dog wouldn't eat but that's not entirely true. I think I'll save that story for another time.
I'm looking forward to having a forum through which to share my passion for cooking, my enjoyment of wine and my dabblings in creative arts. Oh yeah, I'll probably blather on about my cat too. Isn't she cute?
